The Alberta Rules for the Selection of Candidates for the Liberal Party of Canada set out eligibility to vote as follows:

1.7 Every Member of an Electoral District Association at least 21 days prior to the holding of a meeting HAS BEEN AMENDED TO: EVERY MEMBER OF AN ELECTORAL DISTRICT ASSOCATION AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE HOLDING OF A MEETING.

Associate members are not eligible to vote (National Rule 10.1)


VOTER IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENT
(National Rule 8.3(d)):

1. Provide one original piece of identification issued by a government or government agency containing your photo, name and address;
OR
2. Provide two original pieces of identification, both pieces must contain your name, and one must also contain your address;
OR
3. A Voter can be vouched for by a Voter whose name appears on the Membership List in the same Electoral District Association and who has an acceptable piece or pieces of identification. Both will be required to make a sworn statement. A Voter cannot vouch for more than one person, and the person who has been vouched for cannot vouch for another Voter.
